Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how Zenan Şähri ("we", "us") collects, uses and protects information when you use the Zenan Şähri mobile application for Android and iOS (the "App") and the website zenanshahri.com. The App is a marketplace that connects customers with shops, service providers, delivery drivers and business accounts in Turkmenistan.

2. Information we collect

Account and contact data – name, phone number and, for business accounts, shop or service details, logo and photos you choose to publish.
Order data – products ordered, delivery address, order notes and order history.
Location – precise or approximate location, only after you grant permission, to show nearby shops on the map, calculate delivery and help drivers reach you. You can turn it off at any time in your device settings.
Photos and camera – only when you choose to take or pick a photo (for example product photos by sellers, or a photo for Zenan AI visual search).
Messages – messages you send to shops or drivers in the App, and questions you type to the Zenan AI assistant.
Device and technical data – a device identifier generated by the App, device model, operating system, app version, language, and a push notification token.
Usage data – screens opened, searches and interactions, collected with Firebase Analytics to improve the App.

We do not collect contacts, call logs, SMS, health data or payment card numbers.

3. How we use information

To provide the marketplace: show products, process and deliver orders, and connect you with shops, service providers and drivers.
To send notifications about orders, messages and, if enabled, news and offers.
To run Zenan AI search and recommendations.
To keep the App secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix errors.
To understand how the App is used and improve it.

4. Zenan AI (photos and questions)

When you use Zenan AI, your text question and, if you attach one, your photo are sent from our server to Google's Gemini API to understand what you are looking for. Photos are resized, used only to answer your request and deleted from our server within one hour. We do not use your photos to identify people. Google processes this data under the Gemini API Terms.

5. Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only:

with the shop, service provider or driver handling your order or request (for example your name, phone and delivery address);
with service providers that help us run the App: Google Firebase (analytics and push notifications), Google Maps (maps), Google Gemini (Zenan AI) and our hosting provider;
when required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users and the platform.

6. Storage and security

Data is stored on our servers and transferred over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access is protected by authentication tokens and limited to staff who need it. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

7. Retention

We keep account and order data while your account is active and as long as needed for orders, legal and accounting obligations. Zenan AI photos are deleted within one hour. Analytics data is kept in aggregated form.

8. Your choices and rights

You can view and update your details in the App.
You can turn off location, camera, photos and notification permissions in your device settings.
You can ask us for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete your account and personal data, by contacting us (details below). We respond within 30 days.

9. Children

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The new version will be published on this page with a new effective date, and important changes will be announced in the App.
